Mid-December, 2013, I shared with you a newspaper article of all of the units heading to Afghanistan in 2014.Operation Bandanas set a goal of providing 10,000 Psalm 91 bandanas for those troops. We wanted that goal to be reached by May 31, 2014, which meant that we would need $30,000.00 in donations to cover and bless our soldiers with God’s words of Psalm 91.
I am very thankful to announce that God’s continued faithfulness to tHIS mission by speaking to the hea…rts of individuals and churches to support our ministry helped us exceed our goal!
As of May 31, 2014, $33,293.65 was donated! We have had the ability to order and distribute the majority of those Psalm 91 bandanas and more are being mailed and delivered this summer to our amazing men and women in uniform.
Thank you, friends of our military, for showing your love and appreciation to our troops by providing them with spiritual encouragement as they continue the hard tasks that they perform so courageously and faithfully.
Keep them close in prayer, praying Psalm 91 over them. It’s not over yet! Not sure it will ever be for that matter, but I place my trust in a Sovereign God and His Son, Jesus, to carry us through until His return.
“Thank you, God, for brave, dedicated men and women who volunteer and continue to serve to keep us safe and free here at home and around the world. Keep them under your shadow. Be their refuge and fortress. Deliver them from the snare of the fowler and the deadly pestilence. Cover them with your feathers and let them find refuge there. Do not let them be afraid of the terror by night or the arrow that flies by day. Give your angels charge over them to keep them safe. Deliver them, Lord, and be with them in trouble. Show them your salvation.” Amen.
